The summer term has flown by and our summer concert is fast approaching. Do come and join us on Monday 17th June at 2.30 pm in the Southside Community Centre, 117 Nicolson Street, Edinburgh EH8 9ER. We’re delighted to welcome Joanna Duncan as soloist to play Beethoven’s Romance in F for violin and orchestra with us. We’ll also be playing Beethoven’s overture King Stephen and the first suite from Bizet’s Carmen, full of seductive and rousing tunes.
All are very welcome. Admission is free – no tickets required. Tea and coffee will be available. The concert is once again in aid of Drake Music Scotland, the nation’s leading arts organisation providing music making opportunities for people with disabilities, and we’ll have a collection basket available if you’d like to make a donation.
